Long stay visa fees : As of the 1st of November 2012 but going into effect the 1st of January 2013 all of those applying for a long stay visa valid as a residence permit (Students, Spouses of a French National, Employees, Trainees, Scientists and Researchers, Spousal beneficiaries of family reunification and Visitors) will be required to pay the residency fees when they submit their application in addition to the visa fee. Prior to this date these fees were collected at the l’Office Français de l’Immigration et de l’Intégration(OFFI) directly in France. Note that those fees will not be refunded whatever the outcome of the application.
