“Destination Prestige” is a French talk-show focusing on promoting the French language and culture in a multilingual format. Broadcast from Kennesaw State University’s Internet-only streaming radio station, OWL Radio, the program serves as a platform for Francophone academic and cultural exchange. Hosted by Jean-Marc Akakpo, the theme-oriented radio show discusses a new topic discussed each week, such as the reconstruction of Haiti, the francophonie festival, or francophone music. The show plays Wednesdays from 12:00-2:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am-12:00 pm, Atlanta local time. This weekly show consists of interviews, reports, new flashes, short language lessons, literature debates, music, and group interviews to encourage the practice of the language.
