The Consulate General of France in Atlanta is moving

May will be impacted by the relocation of the Consulate General of France in Atlanta to new offices in the Lenox complex of Buckhead. This will mark the creation of a “Maison de France”, since the French Trade Commission – Ubifrance, the French-American Chamber of Commerce of Atlanta and the association Atlanta-Accueil will be joining us there, while the “Ecole du samedi” and French External Trade Advisors will have offices at their disposal to organize meetings. This will tremendously improve the consulate’s reception of the public and will promote the synergies and collaboration between the different French representatives in Atlanta.

May 13-17, 2010, the Consulate General will finalize its relocation, however we will remain open to the public to provide any information.

During this time, the Consulate will not be able to register French citizens in its database. The Consulate will also not be able to issue biometric passports, birth certificates or legal documents. On the other hand, requests regarding certified documents stating vital data and national identity cards will be able to be issued.

May 17, 2010, the Consulate’s new address will be:

Consulate General of France
3399 Peachtree Rd NE
Suite 500
ATLANTA, GA, 30326

We strongly encourage you to contact us and to regularly check our Web site before any possible visit to the consulate during this period. Thank you for your understanding and please excuse us for any disturbances.
