Anthony Ferré, a chef’s secrets

JPEG Settled in Atlanta since August 2004, Anthony Ferré is the founder of the catering company “Anthony for your party”. Graduate of the hotel industry school of Eragny (France), he has worked in famous Parisians restaurants, such as Le Méridien and La Grande Cascade. For several years, he was a cook at the “Hotel Matignon”, Residence of the French Prime Minister. Before he arrived in Atlanta, Anthony was the manager of the restaurants of the Conseil Régional d’Ile-de-France and of the French Embassy of the United States in Paris. As Anthony Ferré’s experience has been built on 15 years of work in the culinary field, he now offers his services at Atlanta’s greatest receptions.

“Anthony for your party” caters events for up to 250 people, and has a wide range of offerings. “A top-notch restaurant at home”, this is Anthony Ferré’s original idea. Purchasing products, providing servers and giving advice about wine, Anthony creates a marvellous spread. And he doesn’t stop there: Chef Ferré organizes cooking classes, for personal or professional purposes. He provides several options tailored to his clients’ specific needs, from one to four classes, to lessons for men only, etc. “At the end of the fourth class, the participants know how to cook recipes worthy of the greatest Chefs. And my recipes are prepared in order to be reproduced easily at home”, explains Anthony. As for the icing on the cake, the Chef’s specialities hail from Brittany. Birthday parties, breakfasts, and business meetings: Anthony is well known for his crepe parties. On July 14th 2007, at the Bastille Day celebration organized by the Consulate General of France in Atlanta, more than 700 people had the pleasure of tasting his sweet and savory crepes.

Born in Argenteuil (France), Anthony has adjusted to the American style. Salmon with mango salsa, pork “filet mignon” with spicy caramel, sautéed fennel with mint: Chef Ferré knows how to bring flavors together, and shares his know-how with enthusiasm and modesty.
